In the (somewhat altered) words of Curtis the Elf, from The Santa Clause 2, “THE DE-CINDY-FICATION PROCESS HAS BEGUN.”
Tim left for Corpus Christi this morning and will return tomorrow night, so he may be coming home to a “new” wife. Reality is starting to hit as hair is now falling out in handfuls with each finger stroke of the head. My head is not that sensitive (yet) and I have a very thick head of hair, so even with the extra loss I still have a full head. I imagine that will change in a few days, although some people probably think I’ll always have a thick head (ha).
On another note, our daughter started school in Montgomery yesterday (in spite of some drama getting her enrolled). Road schooling is officially ended! Tim and I were in the clinic when she arrived at the bus stop after school. We were thankful for her new iPhone when she got lost in the neighborhood (trying to find a way home from the bus stop). Today’s school day was eventful as well – early release day interrupted by a chemical fire in the cafeteria resulting in evacuation of the school. Interestingly enough, they had a fire drill while enrolling her in school just two days ago, so at least they were prepared! I don’t think she’s done much studying so far, although she did work on some geometry :). Looking forward to next week and, hopefully, a more routine schedule.
Cindy,
You are one of the most beautiful people I know, inside and out, hairy or bald, no matter what! I am so proud of you for taking this thing on with humor and a fighting spirit!
Do you remember the Seinfeld where Jerry shaved his chest? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_R93Ps8pQI
Hairless is where it’s at! 🙂
Love you!
Dawn
Bald is beautiful!!!!! You probably won’t loose it all to where you will have a baby butt smoothness but a razor gets you there easily. I would shave it when I started to get patches and thinning. It kind of made me feel more sickly than I wanted to be; look good feel good is what I live by. xooxoxo
It was actually in the ninth grade hall upstairs. Some say in the bathroom.
Cindy, maybe you could do something with St. Baldricks! I bet you’d raise a lot of money! Might help turn this into a positive!
