Another Baseline

This morning started with a follow-up ultrasound, another baseline before we start the FEC next week. (This afternoon will be the 12th and final dose of Taxol). I can feel a difference, and the monitor reported what I have self-detected.

The mass was much less defined than it was before we started, and it has decreased in size from 9 cm to about 4 cm.  They found one abnormal lymph node, which is a decrease from “several” abnormal nodes at the first baseline ultrasound.  The technician as well as doctor of radiology said the mass is more difficult to measure due to the lack of clear definition.  She feels we are definitely moving in the right direction, and the treatment looks like it is working.  I wholeheartedly believe in the chemo, but my faith in God is even stronger than my faith in the drugs.  God is the ultimate Healer, and the prayers of His saints are working!  We still have a long way to go, but the progress is encouraging.  Thank you for your continued prayers!
