This is the Captain’s Log. The bike beckoned us to ride instead of taking the four-wheeled cage, so we obeyed. The weather was beautiful with lovely smells of springtime along the road, contrary to the weatherman’s prediction of rain. On our bright red Road Glide we rode to where we would sit in our favorite cafe’ for change of work scenery, computers and notebooks cradled neatly in the touring pack for the ride.
No greater time to get a couple of points than the present, so a quick stop at the Texan Harley presented us with the city of Conroe and another Harley Davidson Dealership. They have the new 2015 Freewheeler, and I admit I was impressed enough to sit on it and contemplate what life would be like if I had my own ride. And it was also enough to seriously contemplate getting my motorcycle’s license. Since Elizabeth also wants to get her license, perhaps a mother-daughter date is in order…
Two points were added to our 2015 ABCs of Touring. It almost didn’t feel like a work day…almost.
À la prochaine (Until next time)…
